I’m  fortunate to be a forum member on the legendary Retrobike, and when this came up the other day, the owner Lee, aka LML999, was kind enough to let me post his pictures here…

This is a Unicorn, I’ve never seen one before,

it’s lug stamps are consistent with the post 95 Masters

but the tubes have no crimps, which did make me question it was a Master

until the owner posted this…

my eyes practically fell outta my head!!!!!!

You can see by the space between the headtube and the lugs it’s a small frame, Lee said 49.5 center to center, so perhaps it was a bespoke order…a stunning piece of work, here’s the original thread

I do like the look of the Klein Adroit , and I saw this for sale the other day, a single colour finish rather than the fluro  fade decor…

the vendor was asking 4,000 euros plus, which seems about top end price wise, I wonder if it sold!

I saw a friend working on this and took a couple of cheeky pictures,

don’t worry about the components, this is about frame set love…

A Cipollini Speed Pista… I asked if the owner was pro and my friend said “No, he’s just fast”….

This appeared recently for sale on a certain online auction site….

seems to be in full Team Buckler spec, decor and Suntour Superbe pro components

nice detailing on the frame like seat stay cut outs,

and , unusual v/heart shaped lugg cut outs in place of the four leafed clover

a nice piece, perhaps the winning bidder should buy my Team Buckler Master for matchy-matchy Sunday/Cafe tours….

Sotheby’s recently held the RED auction,

and one of the lots was this Antonio Colombo signed Cinell Laser pista,

estimated to raise $15-20, 000 …….

the lot sold for $47, 500!!!!!!

I caught this on the Colnago stand at Bike motion 2013…

just off center, with the strange effect inside the Mapei cubes,

the original decor was more solid..

still, if it came knocking on my stable door, I wouldn’t turn it away.

I came across these two fine examples on a recent ebay trawl..

A 1986 Colnago Master ex pro Del Tongo roadbike..

the vendor was kind enough to add to the listing this picture of a Del Tongo team rider in an unfortunate predicament..

you can see the listed bike is the exact same decor..

with Campagnolo Cobalto calipers,

and a Campagnolo Super Record seat post, complete with front and rear Colnago pantographing…
