The other Sunday (December 18th) I went to Cambiago , Milan for the afternoon to attend the opening of Sr Ernesto Colnago’s collection at it’s new, publicly accessible home, La Collezione…

I thanked Sr Colnago again, he was in good spirits.

I also thanked Alessandro Brambilla ..

The opening was attended by a small crowd, mainly familiar friendly faces. 2023 will see it open to the public, and become a UN site for World Cycling day.

All the best bikes Sr Colnago produced were there …

Colnago La Collezione launch , Milan

I was fortunate to receive an invite from Sr Ernesto Colnago and his grandson , Alessandro Brambilla , to the launch event in Milan of Sr Colnago’s collection in it’s new home, La Collezione.

I saw Sr Colnago , who was gracious to give me some time…

Colnago C59 Italia Team Edition Voeckler KOM .

I picked this up a while back, it was hanging on an online auction for a while.

“Colnago is bucking that trend and is offering 135 of Thomas Voeckler’s Colnago C59 Italia Team Edition frame decorated with polka dots. Why just 135? That’s to commemorate the points the Frenchman accumulate in the climber’s classification and secure him the overall prize as he rolled into Paris last Sunday.”
